Basal Metabolic Rate 1w-2.54 wkg
Temperature: 35.83 - 36.49 C or 96.54 F
***Baby gliders should be between approx. 55g-65g at 8 weeks old. Do not buy baby gliders under this weight as they are either too young or malnourished***
Fm: 80g - 135g (avg 115g)
M: 100g - 160g (avg 135g)
Heartrate: 200-300 beats/min
Respiratory Rate: 16 - 40 breaths/min
Bacterial Infection Causes: (most common)
Zoonotic Concerns: (can be passed Animal to Animal or to Human)
- diarrhea in your animal or in yourself should be checked out by a Dr. It could be a symptom of concern!! Gliders dehydrate rapidly and can die within days if not treated. Gliders can be given electrolytes to help recover from diarrhea - ask your vet. .
3 common antibiotic/parasitic treatments:
If you notice your glider acting really different or sluggish.....TAKE them to the VET!
You cannot procrastinate with gliders.
